Our commitment
Loonies and Sense Digital Inc. is committed to making our website and financial planning tools accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to the information and tools they need to make informed financial decisions.
What we are doing
We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website. Our ongoing efforts include:
- Using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our guiding standard
- Conducting regular accessibility audits using automated tools and manual testing
- Designing with semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, and screen reader compatibility in mind
- Training our team on accessible design and development practices
- Incorporating accessibility into our development process from the start, not as an afterthought
Known limitations
We recognize that some parts of our website may not yet be fully accessible. In particular:
- Some interactive charts and visualizations may not be fully navigable by keyboard alone
- Certain third-party components (such as CAPTCHA services) may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control
We are working to address these limitations and appreciate your patience as we improve.
Feedback and contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Loonies & Sense. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, have difficulty using any part of our website, or have suggestions for improvement, please let us know:
- Email: hello@looniesandsense.ca
We take accessibility concerns seriously and will do our best to respond within five business days. Where possible, we will provide the information you need in an alternative accessible format.
Canadian accessibility standards
We are guided by the principles of the Accessible Canada Act and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), which reference the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as the standard for digital accessibility. We use WCAG 2.1 Level AA as the benchmark for our work.
Continuous improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. We regularly review and update our website to improve the experience for all users. This statement will be updated as we make progress.
If you have questions or feedback about our accessibility efforts, please contact us.
